Beach Wedding – Oceanside, OR
My friend got married at the beach this past weekend.
That can be scary when you live In Oregon. The weather starts getting iffy in September so if you schedule something you pretty much hold your breath, cross your fingers, and pray like you’ve never prayed before.
They lucked out and the day was absolutely gorgeous.
I had never been to Oceanside but now I definitely want to go back. It’s a small little town and we joked that with so many there for the wedding it was Occupy Oceanside.
The bride had her Chocolate and Yellow Labs in the wedding which was adorable. They’re well-behaved dogs to begin with and did great but I’ve never been to a wedding with pets involved so it was fun to see. Sadly, I only got a pic of one of the dogs just before the ceremony, but how cute is the bride’s nephew too? All the nephews were dressed the same and how stylish is the hat?!
Good ceremony pictures were hard to get from where we were sitting but here is a decent one; the Groom was teary-eyed throughout which was so sweet, he certainly got an amazing gal!
I went to the wedding with my co-worker Brooke and we took her dog Roxy down to the beach after the ceremony.
Here’s me and Brooke Brooke and I on the windy coast:
And some more of Oceanside, OR:
So that was that, a wedding at the beach!
A gorgeous day, a gorgeous bride, and I wish them a world of happiness!

What a beautiful ceremony! I’ve always wanted to go to a beach wedding! I’m glad you had fun!

Thanks! Part of me wished we’d run off to Hawaii for our own wedding and had something small on the beach. Maybe for a 10 year vow renewal 🙂

How beautiful! I loved the dogs being at the wedding. If my husband and I ever renewed our vows I know our Sammy would be right there with us.

Us too, Koko is such an important part of our lives it would feel like something was missing if we didn’t include her!
